Browser notifications (730): click “Turn on notifications” once in the top bar. From then on every new version arrives as a real push without polling – in the top bar of an open editor (“New release x.y.z” with button, or the green “Released x.y.z”), otherwise as a browser notification. Standard Web Push (service worker /cms/sw.js, VAPID key per installation, encrypted, no third-party library); it travels through the browser's push service.
Release and “Update now” switch automatically: after the click the page always shows “running …” and checks until it is finished, then reloads and shows the green “Released” (no F5 needed). The server reports “running” before it removes the request, so there is no gap.
Website (734): `<meta name="generator" content="CDPCMS.com Version x.y.z">` with the installed version; Open Graph is printed on the CDPCMS website too. The stylesheet stays inline in the page (PageSpeed).
